A man for Tennessee has pleaded guilty to fraud for continuing to collect Social Security disability benefits even though he had gone back to work. The 58-year-old man collected benefits from 1995 to 2006 while he continued to work at times.

Following an investigation conducted by the FBI, Criminal Investigation division of the IRS, U.S. Department of Transportation's Office of Inspector General and the Social Security Administration's Office of Inspector General, Pickel was indicted in March 2007 and charged with one count of social security fraud and two counts of making false statements to law enforcement, two counts of providing false statements to a governmental agency, and two counts of witness intimidation.

He faces jail time, a fine, and possibly having to pay back the money he collected at his sentencing. His sentencing date is in September.
